The title song of this album (with words and music by Karen) encapsulates that meeting of kindred souls. The knowledge that although you have just met, you have really known each other for ever. ‘It’s written in the stars, it was meant to be.’
Among the cover versions are jazz standards including Lover Man and Autumn Leaves, together with modern classics (River Flows in You and La Valse d’Amélie), the haunting Kate Bush song The Man with the Child in his Eyes,Dave Frishberg’s Peel Me a Grape and Picking up the Pieces from Paloma Faith.
